High-end concept store Villa Arte in Laren, Netherlands, offers an exclusive mix of clothing brands, luxury home furnishings, garden designs, art, and cars. As part of enhancing their unique shopping experience, they searched for a partner to help bring their vision of an outdoor extension to life. Renson Outdoor and Amani collaborated to create a luxury patio cover around a mature tree.
Customers are increasingly looking to personalize their outdoor spaces. Renson Outdoor quickly embraced this trend with a more customized project approach. The brand’s product knowledge and experience proved instrumental in the design and construction of this special project.
Additional outdoor space
The new annex needed to reflect the same level of luxury and sophistication as the main building to showcase Villa Arte’s exclusive collections. A mature tree added some complexity, as it needed to be incorporated into the patio cover design to create a seamless indoor-outdoor space that embraced the garden and its lush surroundings.
A connection with nature
Amani proved to be the ideal solution for this project in the Netherlands, thanks to its customizable modular units. The open louvered roof allows the tree to maintain its connection with nature and the surrounding garden. Strategically shifted columns support the span while contributing to the structure’s seamless integration with the terrace.
A la carte luxury
The soft contours, calming earthy tones,, and natural materials create an elegant and sophisti-cated look, while the clean lines convey a sense of calm. The mix of materials enhances the feeling of luxury and refinement - precisely the atmosphere the client aimed to create. Sliding glass doors, lighting fixtures and folding loggia panels provide the perfect finishing touch. Nature blends harmoniously with the refined architectural aesthetic of this design.
