BI Engineer
job description
As a BI Engineer, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will design, develop and maintain BI solutions that enable our organization to make data-based decisions.
Responsibilities
- Uses business intelligence data and tools to identify and monitor data analysis and reporting needs.
- Builds the analysis environment with business stakeholders (identify needs, identify data sources, create data sets).
- Collects data from various sources, including company data, industry and field reports, public information or purchased sources.
- Maintains current data/BI environment.
- Develops data extractions and data warehouse creation with other teams.
- Monitors usage and improves usability.
ProfiLE
- Hands-on experience with Power BI
- Experience with Python, MS SQLserver, business processes and SAP ERP systems are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and organized.
- You have an excellent knowledge of data modeling and Business Intelligence principles.
- You enjoyed an economics or IT focused education (Bachelor's or Master's degree).
