1. Easier to connect

The adaptor ring with rubber is a new part in the range that serves as an adaptor between the control valve and air flexible.

The adaptor ensures that no deformation occurs at the control valve when connecting the air-flexible and that the air-flexible can be easily disconnected from the control valve for service, if needed.

Advantage:

  1. There is no more need to cut open an adaptor cap to make an adaptor. This ensures time savings during installation and is also safer in operation.
  2. The rubber connection has the following advantages in combination with the RENSON aluminium flexibles (Aludec, Isodec, Acoudec):
  • Airtight connection: a tension clamp is no longer necessary, again saving time. 
  • The shape of the rubber ensures a rock-solid connection between the flexible and the adaptor ring


The adaptor caps in the Healthbox 3.0 motorKIT will be functioning as a cover plate only. To make the installation even more compact, the current adaptor cap is replaced by a flat cover plate.

The adaptor cap at the ventilation collector T-piece will undergo the same modification.

The increased compactness in certain cases allows Healthbox 3.0 to be placed between the beams of the roof truss.

Modification of the KITs

The KITs control valves are modified in the 1st phase, while the KITs motor unit and valve collector are modified in a 2nd phase.

The adaptor cap (ref 17068) and metal clamps (refs 66014110 and 66014111) remain optionally available. Adaptor rings with rubber ø80 (ref 36829) will be available as accessories from approx. Jan 2026.

2. More energy-efficient type CO2 sensors

Kitchen Bedroom

A new type of CO2 sensor is used in the 'Kitchen' and 'Bedroom' control valves. 

Operation remains unchanged. The advantage of the new type of sensor is lower power consumption, allowing more control valves with CO2 sensors to be placed in a configuration. 

The current manual on the website shows how many control valves with a CO2 sensor can be used per configuration: link (section 10.3.3)

3. SmartConnect: 1 USB connector

The cover of the motor unit is being updated; in the SmartConnect zone, only 1 USB connection will be available (instead of 2). The USB connection serves only to connect the Wi-Fi dongle.

The change will be implemented roughly in parallel with the modifications to the motor KIT.
