Collaborating with the KU Leuven to create a healthy indoor climate
Healthy indoor climate as a service
Our strategic partnership will last at least three years. The KU Leuven will research how data, artificial intelligence and smart technology can contribute to a healthy indoor climate. They will also investigate how this can be offered as a service for builders, renovators and residents in the future. It will also address the legal and building technology aspects; looking at the role that future climate change will play in this.
Interdisciplinary and interregional research
The chair will mainly be occupied by the KULAK (KU Leuven Campus Kortrijk) and the Technology Campus in Ghent. However, this is not just an interregional story, many disciplines will work together, which makes this partnership unique. The research is based on an integrated approach in three different domains: legal, artificial intelligence and building technology. In Ghent, the focus will be on the latter, while Kortrijk will focus on the legal side and the AI expertise.
Evolving further as a knowledge-based company
This collaboration is very important to Renson. It is our goal to evolve further as a knowledge-based company and we want to continue to focus on innovation in order to “create healthy spaces” for everyone. By working together with universities, we will raise the bar even higher.
