JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of our IoT team of 5 engineers, you will work together to develop and maintain this home automation system. Your responsibilities include:

• Developing, expanding, and improving the IoT infrastructure
• Writing application code in Python for both edge devices and cloud applications
• Contributing to shaping our integrated Smart Living concepts
• Building feature-rich APIs for our frontend applications and third parties

Our cloud infrastructure runs on Microsoft Azure. The in-house developed systems require a CI/CD-first approach, leveraging as much as possible the PaaS services of the cloud platform.

PROFILE

• You have an IT-related education and/or several years of experience with Python
• You deliver code changes along with well-written unit tests and documentation
• You are interested in the concepts of the Internet of Things and home automation
• You are an effective communicator within a small team in English and preferably also in Dutch
