Facade Cladding Linarte checklist
Structure
Application
Linarte systems: LINARTE Design facade cladding with vertical alignment.
Linarte parts: Profiles and accessories for Linarte façade cladding.
Linarte systems is a fixed answer for custom calculations
Fire clip
If required to comply with local fire safety legislation, each profile must be secured with a fire clip.
This ensures that the profile does not fall down in the event of a fire.
Without fire clip: Fire clips are not provided.
With fire clip: Each profile can be individually secured by a fire clip.
If you opt for fire clips, a fire clip is supplied for each Linarte profile to be attached.
Mounting
Do you wish to fix the mullions with the Renson direct fixing system, or do you opt for fixing on a standard background structure (exclusive)?
Direct fixing standard
With Renson's direct fixation system, the punched supports are fixed directly to the substrate by attaching a patented plastic anchor plug to the spacer screw.
Compared to the classic wooden support structure system, this method is not only more favorable due to the lower material cost and faster installation time. Thanks to the direct fixation, there are fewer thermal bridges, the total system depth is smaller and you have a more durable solution.
Mounting on a wooden or other supporting structure
The supports are attached to a wooden beam or other load-bearing structure (fixing parts and load-bearing structure at the customer's charge).
Cavity and insulation thickness (mm)
Specify the thickness of the insulation and cavity. This is the distance between the wall and the back of the mullion (D). For the cavity you need to provide at least 15 mm but this can be more.
The thickness of the insulation and cavity is used to determine the length of the profile supports and the length of the distance screws.
Horizontal centre-to-centre distance betw. L-brackets (mm)
The table below gives a guideline for the maximum horizontal spacing (HOH) of the profile supports per type of surface.
Horiz. centre-to-centre distance betw. spacer screws (mm)
The following table gives a guideline for the maximum horizontal spacing (HOH) of the fastening screws for each type of surface.
Wall type
Specify whether you wish to cover a flat or curved wall with Linarte.
Flat wall
The wall to be covered is flat.
Curved wall
Curved walls, both hollow and convex, can be covered with Linarte provided the radius is greater than 1000 mm. No openings (windows, doors, gates) can be integrated in curved walls. Indirect LED lighting at the bottom is also not possible. Attention: the drawing that is published is not representative (you will get a drawing of the straight wall). Orders for curved walls are placed through the intervention of a Renson employee.
Dimensions
Wall width
This is the width of the wall that needs to be covered with Linarte. When ordering, pass the measurements effectively measured on the already placed substructure or from the rear of the carrier to be placed with the direct fixing system. Maximum width in the configurator is limited to 12m.
System thickness Block 16 = 52 mm
System thickness Even = 61 mm
System thickness Block 30 = 66 mm
Measure wall width with angle to back of carrier.
Direct fixing: insulation + 15mm
Timber rafters: insulation + rafters
Wall height
The height H to be entered is equal to the length of the supplied Linarte profiles + the thickness of the support profile (= 2mm).
Provide sufficient clearance above and below to guarantee the ventilating function of the wall. Also take into account the thickness of the support profile (2 mm).
The maximum height in the configurator is limited to 6m (= maximum length of the Linarte profiles).
Wall height ≠ slat height. E-reps = slat length + 2mm for support profile.
Ventilation circulation above and below recommended: 15mm
Non-cladded openings
Number of non-cladded openings
Specify the number of uncladded openings in the wall. These are openings that are not covered with Linarte profiles (e.g. window, door...).
Attention: a maximum of 4 openings (uncladded, cladded door or gate) can be configured in one wall.
For example, if you enter 4 uncladded openings, you can no longer add a door.
DO NOT enter openings for integrating techniques such as sockets or intercoms. These are defined in the 'accessories' section.
Finishing of the non-cladded openings
Specify how the Linarte cladding should be finished preferably around the openings, with the high or low side of the profile. This finish applies to all openings in this wall (if technically possible).
If you opt for the window sight finishing, this will be done in the same way for all windows.

Depth of opening
Vul de breedte in van de opening B
Width of opening
Position X of opening
Determine the position of the opening by specifying the coordinates with respect to the bottom left corner of the wall (zero point).
x = distance from the left side of the opening with respect to the zero point
x = 0 or x > 200 mm
Around an opening, a minimum distance of 200 mm from the edges (left / right, up / down) or between two openings must be provided.
Position Y of opening
Determine the position of the opening by specifying the coordinates with respect to the bottom left corner of the wall (zero point).
y = distance from the bottom of the opening with respect to the zero point
y = 0 or y > 200 mm
Around an opening, a minimum distance of 200 mm from the edges (left / right, up / down) or between two openings must be provided..
Doors
Number of doors (cladded)
Specify the number of doors to be integrated / cladded with Linarte.
Important: only doors that open inwards can be cladded.
Doors are not included in the delivery
Clearance above the door
Specify how much clearance x should be left above the Linarte profiles on the door (in relation to the Linarte wall) (min. 6mm)
Width of opening
Height of opening
Position X of opening
Determine the position of the opening by specifying the coordinates with respect to the bottom left corner of the wall (zero point).
x = distance from the left side of the opening with respect to the zero point
x = 0 or x > 200 mm
Around an opening, a minimum distance of 200 mm from the edges (left / right, up / down) or between two openings must be provided.
Sectional doors
Number of sectional doors (cladded)
Specify the number of sectional doors to be integrated in the Linarte wall.
In e-reps, only sectional doors that consist of 4 or 5 door panels can be entered, and the middle door panels should have the same height.
The sectional garage door is provided by the customer. The customer has to verify if the garage door is suitable to be covered with Linarte.
Number of panels in the sectional garage door
Specify how many garage door panels (sections) the sectional door is made up of:
Height of sectional doors (Hd)
Hd : passage height of the gate
H PB : height Linarte profiles on the lower door section (excl. support profile)
H PM : height Linarte profiles on the middle gate sections (excl. support profile)
H PT : height Linarte profiles on top door section (excl. support profile)
D : play between the Linarte profiles on the gate panels
B : width / aperture of the gate
Width of opening
Position X of opening
Determine the position of the opening by specifying the coordinates with respect to the bottom left corner of the wall (zero point).
x = distance from the left side of the opening with respect to the zero point
x = 0 or x > 200 mm
Around an opening, a minimum distance of 200 mm from the edges (left / right, up / down) or between two openings must be provided.
Clearance between the panels (D)
Specify how much space should be left between the Linarte profiles on the gate sections (D):
min 3mm – max 20mm
Support profile
Specify the type of support profile required on the gate panels:
LED support profile
If you opt for the LED support profile, the Linarte profiles are simply supported by the support profile (they are not fixed to the support profile).
Support profile L 30x30x3
On the garage door panels, an L-profile 30x30x3 can be fitted as a support profile. The Linarte door profiles have to be provided with an indentation (milled by the customer). In this way the door profiles are fixed to the support profile.
